1. Scope of the service
maihoathon offers I Ching hexagram casting, Tarot readings, date selection, compatibility checks, Bát Tự (Four Pillars) charting, and accompanying interpretations. You can use this content as another perspective when reflecting on something you are considering, not as a guarantee about the future. Further limits are explained on the Disclaimer page.
2. Accounts and safe use
Some features can be used through an anonymous session. You need an account to purchase credits and keep your balance across devices. Using the same account does not mean that your Journal will automatically sync between devices.
You are responsible for providing accurate information and keeping your login details secure. If you suspect unauthorized use of your account, let us know so we can investigate. Anyone under 16 needs a parent or guardian's consent and supervision.
3. Free and purchased credits
Before confirming an action, you can review the displayed number of free credits, package prices, and credit usage.
- Credits give you the right to use features within maihoathon; they are not electronic money, do not earn interest, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Your balance is tied to the account used for payment and does not automatically transfer to another account.
- maihoathon may grant or adjust credits for promotions, to correct errors, or to address fraud.
4. Prices, payments, and reconciliation
Prices are displayed in Vietnamese đồng (VND) at the time of purchase. Payments are processed through a payment gateway and the relevant banks; a transaction is complete only when maihoathon receives valid payment confirmation.
If you have transferred payment but your credits have not been added, you can request reconciliation using the support email below. Keep your receipt, transaction ID, and transfer details to help with reconciliation. Submitting a request gives us information to investigate; it does not itself confirm that the transaction succeeded.
5. Refunds and remedies for errors
For digital content delivered immediately, credits already used generally cannot be refunded simply because you disagree with the result. However, if credits are deducted without a result, you are charged twice, or a transaction is confirmed incorrectly, contact us promptly so we can investigate and restore credits or issue a refund where appropriate.
This provision does not limit any refund rights or remedies required by consumer protection law.
6. Responsible use
To protect users and maintain the service, the following are not permitted:
- Gaining unauthorized access to, overloading, bypassing access limits on, or probing the service for vulnerabilities.
- Using automated tools to generate bulk requests or commit fraud involving credits, payments, or gift codes.
- Entering or sharing another person's personal data without the right to do so.
- Using results to defraud, threaten, discriminate, or carry out unlawful acts.
- Copying, reselling, or commercially exploiting maihoathon's software, data, or content without permission.
7. Content you share
You retain your rights to the content you enter. By submitting content, you permit maihoathon to process it to the extent necessary to provide, protect, and operate the service. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to share that information, especially when your story involves other people.
8. Intellectual property
maihoathon's interface, non-public source code, illustrations, branding, and authored content belong to their respective owners. You may use the service under these terms, but doing so does not transfer ownership of those assets to you.
9. When access may be restricted
We may limit or terminate access where there are signs of fraud, a breach of these terms, a security risk, or a legal requirement. Where reasonable, we will notify you and give you an opportunity to explain so that the matter can be considered more fully.
10. Changes to the service and these terms
As we improve the service, some features may be modified, added, or discontinued. If a change to these terms significantly affects your rights or interests, we will give appropriate notice before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means that you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by Vietnamese law. When a complaint arises, both parties will prioritize good-faith discussion to seek a resolution. If no agreement can be reached, the dispute will be resolved by the competent authority in accordance with the law; the consumer's right to choose a dispute-resolution mechanism remains respected.
