Terms of Use

Effective date: Aug 21, 2026

By accessing or using maihoathon, you agree to the terms below. If you don't agree, please stop using the service.

1. The service

maihoathon offers I Ching hexagram casting, Tarot readings, date selection, compatibility checks, Bát Tự (Four Pillars) charting, and AI-assisted readings. Content is for reflection and reference, and is further limited by the Disclaimer page.

2. Accounts

You can use some features anonymously. An account is required to purchase credits and keep a balance across devices. You must provide accurate information, keep your login details secure, and let us know if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

Anyone under 16 needs a parent or guardian's consent and supervision.

3. Free and purchased credits

  • The number of free credits, package prices, and the cost of each action are shown before you confirm.
  • Credits are a right to use maihoathon's internal features — they are not cryptocurrency, do not accrue interest, and cannot be converted to cash.
  • A balance is tied to the account used to pay for it and doesn't automatically transfer between accounts.
  • maihoathon may grant or adjust credits when running a promotion, fixing an error, or preventing fraud.

4. Pricing and payment

Prices are shown in Vietnamese đồng (VND) at the time of purchase. Payments are processed via payOS and its partner banks. A transaction is only complete once the system receives a valid payment confirmation.

If you've transferred payment but haven't received your credits, you can submit a reconciliation request on the Add credits page (currently Vietnamese-only). Please keep your receipt or transaction ID so we can look into it.

5. Refunds and fixing errors

For digital content delivered instantly, credits already used generally can't be refunded simply because you disagree with the result. If credits were deducted without a result being produced, you were charged twice, or a transaction was confirmed incorrectly, please contact us promptly so we can look into restoring your credits or issuing a refund where appropriate.

These terms don't limit any refund right or remedy required by consumer protection law.

6. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • intrude on, overload, bypass rate limits for, or probe the service for vulnerabilities;
  • use bots to generate bulk requests, or defraud credits, payments, or gift codes;
  • enter or share another person's personal data without their permission;
  • use results to defraud, threaten, discriminate against, or otherwise act unlawfully toward anyone;
  • copy, resell, or commercially exploit maihoathon's software, data, or content without permission.

7. Content you submit

You retain rights to the content you enter, and grant maihoathon permission to process it as needed to provide, protect, and operate the service. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to submit that content.

8. Intellectual property

maihoathon's interface, non-public source code, illustrations, branding, and compiled content belong to their respective owners. Using the service doesn't transfer ownership of these assets to you.

9. Suspension and termination

We may limit or terminate access when there are signs of fraud, a terms violation, a safety risk, or a legal requirement. Where reasonable, we'll notify you and give you a chance to explain.

10. Changes to the service and these terms

Features may be modified, added, or discontinued. If a change to these terms significantly affects your rights, we'll give appropriate notice before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the law of Vietnam. Both sides prioritize resolving complaints through good-faith discussion. If no agreement can be reached, disputes are resolved by the competent authority under applicable law; a consumer's right to choose their own dispute-resolution mechanism is still respected.

12. Contact

Questions, complaints, or support requests: [email protected]. When asking about a payment, please include your account email, order ID, and proof of transaction — never send your password or one-time code.
